The theme of this year SACT workshop is “Architectures and Components for High Confidence Systems”. The workshop will cover the broad spectrum of research papers and experience reports relevant to methods, techniques, and tools for improving the reusability of software architectures and component technologies to design, develop, and maintain high confidence system, including, but not limited to, the following:

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Architectures for service-oriented systems
  • Model driven architectures
  • Architecture-centric product line engineering
  • Architectures for ultra large systems
  • Architecture level support for open source components
  • Architecture visualization and documentation
  • Methods and tools for managing architectural knowledge and rationale
  • Architecture-centric approaches for Agile development
  • Industrial best practices in architectural and components reuse
  • Methods and techniques for architecture analysis and evaluation
  • Component-based software engineering
  • Methods and techniques for migrating legacy architectures
