10th International Conference on Software Reuse
Software architecture and component technologies provide a high-level abstraction of a system. As there is a higher demand for improved productivity and quality of software development, so is the level of abstraction in software design. The design and development of software has moved away from developing basic functions, instead the focus of research and industry practices in software design have been on the architecture, composition and reusable patterns. Although software architecture and component technologies are being used in the software industry for several years, many issues exist and methodologies to support their implementation are insufficient.
The software architectures and component technologies (SACT) workshop is aimed at providing a forum for researchers and practitioners to share their advancements on software architecture and component technologies. We welcome research papers, industrial experience reports, and short papers which report new methodologies, experiments, technologies, empirical studies, and industrial case studies.
The theme of this year SACT workshop is “Architectures and Components for High Confidence Systems”. The workshop will cover the broad spectrum of research papers and experience reports relevant to methods, techniques, and tools for improving the reusability of software architectures and component technologies to design, develop, and maintain high confidence system.
